It may be winter but there’s still an increased risk of fires in some parts. @bnhcrc has released the Australian Seasonal Bush Fire Outlook, showing increased risk on far south coast. There's still a long way to go before peak of the fire season. https://t.co/QMEwTOBPWP #NSWRFS https://t.co/f2zsIWsC7P
Firefighters have contained a house fire on Fifth Ave, Llandilo which started around 3:30pm on Sunday. All persons have been accounted for, with @nswpolice and #NSWRFS investigating the cause of the fire. Crews will work over coming hours to mop up and overhaul the structure. https://t.co/DciXdSPA0k
With winter frosts causing grass to cure, a number of grass fires have threatened assets over the weekend. It is important to maintain a cleared line of at least 20m around assets. Remain in attendance if using fire and make sure you have sufficient water to extinguish #nswrfs https://t.co/pJvBO9zXor
Even though we have seen some much needed rain and cooler temperatures over recent months, we still have the potential for fires. A grass fire this afternoon burnt out around 26 hectares at Tenterfield with the potential to threaten homes and the nearby airport. #NSWRFS #nswfires https://t.co/9AqjTbZ5fL
